New Initiative

• The initiative along with along with H D Microns Ltd (http://hdmicrons.com/), a leader in China Clay to provide basic education to the children of their contractual work force (labour), often migratory in nature is now firmly in place.
• This is in the village of Mamuara, Bhuj, located around 10 kms from our base, ie Padhdhar village, Bhuj.
• The company has provided us with a room and our very own teachers/ mentors (senior students Karsan Rabari & Ashwin Baradiya) lead this journey.
• we currently hold a 90 minute interface every day , idea is to Get them acquainted with basic health and hygiene,prepare them for admission to the government schools.
• Currently 30 odd students are covered by this initiative and we are looking at expanding in adjacent areas.
• This year we have got hostel admission along with school for two children and admission to government school for another twelve children.
• Once we are sufficiently enabled we can extend this initiative to the other large companies situated in Bhuj , Kutch district, Gujarat and take this mission to support the CSR initiatives undertaken by the various organizations.
