About WDM

We believe India is firmly on the path to a socio-economic transformation and all of us have a definitive role to play.

WHITE DESERT MAHAMAYA is an NGO, based out of Padhdhar village, Bhuj, Kutch, Gujarat, India. We made a humble beginning in September 2015 and currently provide academic support to close to 400 children and sustainable income opportunities to more than 50 women artisans.

Ours is an initiative

To facilitate an inclusive society of equal opportunities by

  • Eradicating the fear of education and stop being judgmental.
  • Allow children the freedom and space for self-discovery.
  • Provide a greater mass including underprivileged children, access to basic education.
  • Ensure higher number of students partake of higher education.
  • Focus on creating local job opportunities and support with vocational and job oriented training.
  • Education is a long-term investment. We want our children to be prepared to play a definite role in determining the future of a NEW INDIA.
