It was key to have the infrastructure in place. Spread over 8000 square feet of area, this infrastructure, “MAHAMAYA KUTIR” , located in PadhdharVillage, Bhuj, Kutch District, Gujarat, India, is entirely financed by the principal trustees

Now completed, this building houses

• 3 spacious classrooms on the ground floor.
• One knowledge laboratory on the ground floor.
• such rooms on the ground floor have been named after the elements, “Air”, “Earth”., “Water”, “Fire”.
• 1 open-air classroom for the nursery/junior kids on the first floor.

Every classroom

• Is equipped with an Internet-enabled LED smart TVs beside the usual white/ blackboards and other basic facilities.
• The knowledge laboratory is equipped with 10 Computers, an overhead projector, reference books (a well stocked library), besides housing the hand embroidered offerings of the artisans.
• The activities are monitored through CCTV cameras… The Close circuit Television Cameras and projector is sponsored by Dr Mrs Alpa N Parekh and Dr Mr Nilesh Parekh.

Additionally and in the future

Village common areas belonging to the government will be used to develop playgrounds and other basic sporting facilities.
