Access to education has largely remained a pipe dream for most underprivileged children in India…whilst the government has made a beginning in the right direction through the landmark law, The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, we are of the opinion that individual initiatives need to support the Government.

Education is the key to poverty eradication, inclusive growth, removal of inequalities, population control, breaking down the narrow barriers of caste, creed, religion and color, fighting social/ sexual exploitation and racial/ sexual discrimination creating seamless and inclusive society offering equal opportunities to all. It is a continuous process which helps all individuals to

• Understand our rights and fulfil our responsibilities
• Continuously expand horizons
• Objurgate violence and embrace tolerance
• Earn and give respect
• Overall, make a positive impact on society

And thus has begun our journey to strive for an inclusive milieu of equal opportunities and respect. One India, empowered and educated India of equal opportunities.
