From Dreams to Degrees: Seeking Support for the Next Step

Any sponsor(s) for their Masters degree?
White Desert Mahamaya Trust
The journey of a decade has delivered the first Science graduates from the White Desert family

Both our daughters , Darji Krupa Maheshkumar and Baradiya Urmila Bechubhai ,hailing from BPL families have secured the first division/passed with distinction. They are the reason, why we smile today.

We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort. An effort made for the happiness of others lifts above ourselves.

This journey has been worth its while and gratitude to all those who have supported us from the very beginning

Provide academic support to the senior students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyala

As part of “Project Sunshine”, we White Desert Mahamaya Trust with support from SRF Foundation provide academic support to the senior students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalay, Kachchh Bhuj Kodaki Kodki Gujarat India If you educate a woman, you educate a nation, you educate a generation

The concern on literacy and its importance to a vibrant, ATMA NIRBHAR, VIKSHIT BHARAT is well appreciated but seems to be missing out on the key criteria for delivering on its objectives
Infrastructure can be developed, syllabi can be moderated, courses, gradation and progressives can be designed BUT WHERE WILL THE TEACHERS COME FROM?
And not just teachers, but empathetic, committed , inclusive individuals for whom education is a passionate journey beyond employment and a livelihood opportunity. Teachers who are willing to reach beyond the classrooms, engage with the parents/society, dismantle boundaries and create a seamless society and deliver GLOBAL CITIZENS
We @White Desert Mahamaya Trust plan to deliver 100 such teachers over the next 10 years and this is work in progress ….The question is HOW WILL THIS TRANSALTE TO A PAN INDIA MISSION ?
A good teacher is like a candle – it consumes itself to light the way for others.

The other major issue is bridging the gap between primary education and college education. The ability of the teacher to charter a path and outline a vision for the children along with upgrading local primary schools to accommodate secondary education are key factors
We @ White Desert Mahamaya Trust have applied for a license and plan to throw up a secondary school/ learning centre for the local students very shortly
